Let us start with the Seoul based designer Yang Dong Wook’s own words on the particular vacuum design: “Home appliances which are essential in our daily lives are always inside our homes. People who live in the era of ‘individuality’ tend to add new value to their own houses and dislike products that are only function-oriented. They prefer products thats are just beautiful for how it looks, and ones that can make the house look attractive. ‘VASE’ is a steam vacuum designed by this point of view.”
This, in itself, explains the whole reasoning behind the peculiar strategy for the integration of small home appliences into the home design as a whole. This solution allows you to be proud of you vaccum cleaner, allows you to show it off as any other piece of furniture you have and actually take the spotlight as an interesting piece. Also, this cleaver design allows you to chose from different modes for different actions, such as steam and add accesories to facilitate the cleaning of narrow spaces.
