Minimal Aquarium Design Creates Dedicated Environments For Small Fish

Waterscapes is the name of this new innovative aquarium designs by Haruka Misawa. It’s a whole new environment experience for small aquarium fish.

The minimal design was fully 3D printed in shapes that resemble natural characteristics of diferent environments, with features specially designed for various animal with various needs and activities, from “stairs” for small turtles to climb and rest, to more intricate mazes for fish to hide and swim through.

In some cases we can see the delicate use and knowledge of gravity and water phisics, where the author creates beatiful and playful situations where water seems to be above surface or the other way around, where air is caught in a bubble under the surface.
