Before design was “a thing” or at least more or less as we know it today, its connection with hardware was slim, or pretty much nonexistent. This ‘Guide to Computing‘ photography collection was the result of a partnership between design studio INK and Photographer Docubyte that depicts the history and the relation of technology and design through time.
It documents some of the earliest examples of hardware in its purest form. The analog aesthetics that we keep walking towards in the present days is showcased masterfully in 10 pictures of digitally restored machines.
