Even though the first colour photo was first taken 200 years ago, it’s only been the last 40 years or so that colour photos have been the norm. So this redditors have created a subreddit dedicated to high quality colorizations of historical black and white images, and discussions of a historical nature.
It’s amazing how much more life and detail there is when a photo is colourized. Check out r/ColorizedHistory on Reddit for similar photos.
