On a first look at Fran Silvestre’s work, you might think it is the same white house just, changing places. That is just not the case. It is not wrong to say, though, that most of his projects share the same iconic white as its main visual interest. and the shapes may seem repetitive.
That is nothing but a “brand” and a personal taste that is input into most of the projects. “The project approach arises from a double commitment: the will to give a technical response to a specific context (program of needs, budget, regulations, environment…) and the desire to seek beauty through the built work. This process seeks the satisfaction, understood in its fullest sense, of all those who actively participate in development. Especially from clients and users, but also from collaborators, builders and designers.”
And with this in mind, maybe your prespective of these 5 projects we’ve selected, changes, and you see more of what the architect tries to convey.
